author Visit and Bully  Proofing Workshops

Author visits*, which last about  30 minutes, are set up in a workshop format to include the following elements:

1.  Break the bully stereotype - changing the perception of what a bully looks and acts like.

2. Share the book - reflecting on our own behaviors to identify the bully in all of us.

3. Recognize real bully actions  - because we all act like bullies sometimes.

4. Learn problem solving strategies - empowering students to communicate effectively.

Personalized, autographed books will be available for purchase through order forms.

*School visits can be scheduled by combined grade levels (k-1, 2-3, 4-5), lower el and upper el,  or as all school assemblies.
*Projector and screen will be needed for the presentation.
